Im scheduled to get a tattoo on my forearm Tuesday and was wondering what its going to be like? Its going to be from my elbow to my wrist, a cross, 2 skulls, sword, bones, and a banner that says "Prepare" The estimate was only $125. The guy is really nice, clean and good. What should I expect it to feel like?

It will go scabby for a while....And when you get older it will look bad.

But please, don't let my words discourage you :)

It doesn't look like you need to worry about this, but make sure you don't get any symbols or foreign symbols (such as japanese characters) that you don't understand. For all you know, you can have "I molest little boys" printed on your body.

Haha true.

I'm learning Japanese, hopefully I can get a job at a tatoo parlor and put some nice "phrases" on people.

If you want it, go for it. I've never had a tattoo myself (and I'm not planning on any) but I've heard from a few people that it's not unpleasant, and the process is kind of relaxing. Don't worry about it :)

I'm abit twosided about tattoos. One the one hand, they can be ugly, horrible and it costs a shitload getting them away when you get older and "wiser". On the other hand, they can look really cool and could give people a sort of quick tip on what you like or how you are.

I for one would love to tattoo something like the Predator, Alien or something star wars-ish.

If your going to get a tatto, dont go getting one in plain view, get one on your shoulder, or upper arm etc.

Thats good to hear :)

Who cares man! If it means something to you and you want it then DO IT! Hell, I had 8 root canals in one day a few years back. I'm sure this tat won't be as bad. (or as expensive)

It's not so bad. I have one in the same spot...a dragon ...about 6 -7inches long between my elbow and wrist.

It feels like a burn to me. It stings, but I wouldn't say "hurts". But the bottom line is it's having a needle shoved into your arm hundreds/thousands of times. you WILL feel it.

No worries ...it's not as bad as some people make it, but if you have a problem with pain...might be a bit hard.
