Formating your pc.

Any good tip/tutorials/sugestions on how to format your pc youself with out having any major problem ?
I want to do it myself this time with out having to call the tech guy and waste 30 USD.

Put the windows cd rom in your cd rom drive and boot from it
During the installation, define the partitions (if any) you want to have.
Format them (with fat or ntfs, I prefer ntf) and after that, install windows

Formating wont mess ur comp up cos ur gettin rid of everything.. its puttin all ur drivers/OS back on that can sometimes cause probs.
