Team Fortress Classic was such a great game to me for one reason; the Engineer class. Crafting automatic turrets from scratch with only my trusted spanner and then watching them grow up into big, strong adult turrets as they brutally massacred my enemies just made me feel so proud. So, when I saw the latest media from Fortress Forever showcasing the newly skinned Turret and Spanner models, a tear of joy welled up in my eye. [br]

[br]That rocket launcher is looking mighty fine too; everyone loves big explosions. If you like what you see, be sure to head on over to the Fortress Forever website by clicking here.

doesn't look that impressive, but it's okey
give me ingame screens !

-dodo

edit: i take back that the renders aren't impressive, they are.

Thats mighty impressive, especially considering it only took six months

^^Agreed^^ I think the models look incredible. Every bit as good as anything I seen produced commercially.

I have to admit I'm excited for this mod :). Oddly enough, though, I never really got into TFC.

I never got into the original (or should I say Classic?) Team Fortress. This mod however, has a unique sort of 'clean' style going for it. Nice straight lines, simple ideas, and nice textures. The idea, of course, is old, but the approach seems to be a wonderful hybrid of the ancient and the novel.

I look forward to plaing this mod, from what I can see on their website, unless there are some major changes.

Also, it is a bit difficult to review the actual gameplay through some screenshots, so that may be a turn off as well, should it be rather ill. Being based on the tried and true TFC concepts, however, I think it should appeal to a considerable deal of people.

The graphics look up to scratch, from what I've read it seems very promising for someone (me) who loves tfc more than any other game. If they even manage to capture 1/10th the gameplay with these graphics I don't see myself playing any other game online....ever.:D

Put it better than anything I could have said :P

This mod, the Black Mesa mod and They Hunger:Source are the most anticpated Source mods for me. Hope they can manage to release them in 2006.

QFT.

They have a couple of in-game renders on the site as well, the maps and the solider model are particularly sick. I don't think there's anyone here who isn't waiting for this mod.
