for those of you who still stick around here long enough, which forum scheme do you prefer? this is of course just to see what's best.

here are the forum schemes, just click on them (if available) to see a pic of them

option 1: hl2.net original blue scheme
option 2: coffe/tan style
option 3: bluebird
option 4: the blue scheme before this actual one
option 5: this on is fine
option 6: this one's fine, just do something to the text so it doesn't make your eyes bleed

bluebird original or modded, both were the olden days which i liked most. This one is alright...the bluebird has just always been nicer on the screen.

This is the best one yet ^_^

And, like every other skin, you'll get used to it in a week :p

And the text is probably my favorite part :D

I like light coloured schemes, as a groundrule.

I rather like this new one the more I look at it.

This new one i quite like. I still preferred the tan one though.:frown:

I don't like reading white text.

That is my only complaint.

Me too.

I feel that I'm toturing my eyes and my brain. :/

I like it and I WANT to keep IT.

It hurts my eyes! I don't like reading white writing. Can I change to another skin in the user contol panel? I couldn't find an option to do so.

Came on just now and ARGH!

Tan or what we just had were FINE!

Oops, change my vote to the modded bluebird. Whichever was the one before, it was perfect.

This new one sucks asshole.

Although, didn't the forums used to look like this? I don't even remember. The white text is burning.

Light text on a darker background is much easier on the eye.. i prefer this one

I like bluebird.

Giving the users options is bad because one color of text shows up fine on one theme but terrible on another. It's better to have a standard.

Pff. All we ever use anyway is FABULOUS!

Agreed.
I've gotta say, I really do like tan (perhaps the blue clashes a bit) but Bluebird is good as well. Just something light!

Update: Forum colors still suck.

It would be nice to be able to choose from the old one and this one... I mean, would it be that hard to do...? Am I missing something?

Is there any way to make the font NOT microscopic? Just a thought?

How about straight up black on white, with no fancy images for buttons, or avatars, and everyone uses the same font style, color, and size, with no bolding or italicizing, and no fancy shmancy tables or borders. And there is no post-submit form, you must send your post via email to a unique address that is assigned to each thread upon creation.

How about we stop changing the forum skin, and instead just add new ones and change the default or something so that people don't have to change and complain?

The one before this one but please for the sake of myself not tan!

I couldn't resist :p
The error messages appear because I don't have CS:S fully downloaded so I don't have some models but I think it just adds to the comic. The map is the Versalife building from Deus Ex done in Source. You can get it here:

For some reason this color doesn't seem that half-life to me. I dont know why. But it just doesn't
