Basically, valve host our DNS (until someone sorts out BIND on this box), and limelight host the actual server.

They did it as a favour when our last host screwed us around, and not to have any 'hold' over us - thats something they made clear before we moved onto this server.

Exactly, don't you remeber this site nearly went down on release day with steampowered cos of the massive strain. They are connected somehow eh!? And its been at the bottom of the last front page for a long time, higher up now i think. They always support the best mods, communities out there, helps them thrive and be as big as they are. Good business really.
