Forum suggestion

Hi,

I just thought of a couple of forums that may be useful...

Website development forum

Anything related to website development (HTML/CSS/PHP etc). Seeing as people may be creating Halflife2 clan sites soon I thought it may be of use

Server Issues

Anything related to the official halflife2.net gaming servers.
Map suggestions, Cheats, Player issues etc.

I think the Server Issues would be more suited to being a subforum, as I don't think it'd be used enough to merit it being an actual section.

Sounds good however it might make the amount of forums even more confusing.

Maybe they would work as sub forums ie Halflife2.net > Other Forums > Art & Design > Website Development
or
Halflife2.net > Half-Life 2 Development > Coding > Website Development for more PHP/coding related web deisgn

The HL2.net server forum could go as a sub forum under Halflife2.net > Counter-Strike: Source > Hl2.net Server Discussion

Just an idea to stop the main forum page exploding with forums.
I also think the "Music & Musicians" and "Films. TV and DVD" Should be subforums under General Off-Topic Chat.

I reckon it will be more popular than some of the forums we have. We could have people discussing all aspects of the server, feature requests, maps, technical issues, a place to report problem players etc.

Apart from the problem players part, those kinds of things could easily fit into a single thread, let alone a forum section. I just think a subforum would be much more efficient.

I already PMed chris_D about this, but meesa post anyways. www.gaminforums.com is the best looking forums ever. (me unfortunately banned from there.) But yeah, chris said that they have a good artist or something, that we don't have. I recommend going there to see what i mean
