Anyone know when this is coming? I keep checking Xbox Live but its never there. Is it because I live in Europe or something? I don't know about you guys but I never seem to have any new releases on XboxLive. Is the American and European service different?

The demo is supposed to be coming within the next two weeks.

Yeah I posted about the demo in my Forza2 / DIRT screenshots thread ... Im guessing 27th or the 30th for the demo.

anyone hear anything about release date yet?

Just curious cause Ive never played it, but whats so great about Forza 2 or Forza 1 for that matter?

It's THE most realistic racing game ever, and you can tune/style your cars with decals and stuff, also it's got damage models unlike GT4

And then you can take your car and race it online Im assuming?

Dalamari, it's not really THE most realistic racing game per say, it's not exactly GTR2.

Also, whilst it true it's got a damage model, it also lacks some things, it doesn't have cockpit views, it doesn't have pitstops.

Yea..seems like Forza 2 is more car-oriented (like gran turismo) while GTR2 is more about simulating a real race championship.

Still, they could have had both cockpit views in Forza, but I guess they just couldn't be arsed with so many different cars.

I never played Forza 1 that much...but didn't it have pitstops?

Well I'll take the word of the team making the game over a chav in a Vauxhall ANY DAY

Speaking of demo, we're shooting to get that online as soon as it's done going through the rigors of certification. The trial version should be out of our hands early next week, so... <fingers crossed>

It's not them that do the certification ... so when they say 'out of our hands' they mean that's when they send it for certification. They've said previously that this process usually takes from 3 days to a week (all content needs certification - from the demo to the full thing).

So yes, it probably will be out of their hands by now, but it won't be in our hands till either friday this week or monday next week.

Yeah, Crackdown took about a week and a half to go through cert, it'll be sometime next week
