On the July 2 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends, co-hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade labeled New York Times reporter Jacques Steinberg and editor Steven Reddicliffe "attack dogs," claiming that Steinberg's June 28 article on the "ominous trend" in Fox News' ratings was a "hit piece." During the segment, however, Fox News featured photos of Steinberg and Reddicliffe that appeared to have been digitally altered -- the journalists' teeth had been yellowed, their facial features exaggerated, and portions of Reddicliffe's hair moved further back on his head. Fox News gave no indication that the photos had been altered.

here's an example:

That's ****ing retarded makes me so angry and pleased to live in the UK.

I think it's hilarious ..really shows how low they'll go

They'd definitely get to the finals of the morals limbo.

I lol'd.

If I worked for them, I'd try and sneak in stuff like that too. Im sure it was just a prank some guy did, and not something the network intentionally did.

I'm not even that sure it's not just an inept joke (the photoshop part, not the brain numbing "attack dog" stuff), seeing as how they then photoshop the one guy's head onto a dog.

Thats what the Democratic Labor Party with their mouthpiece, the Hangyeorye, does over here. Damn commie bastards.

Wow... absolutely retarded.

The New York Times should just photoshop their own pictures to make them look badass. With pirate bandanas, eye patches, and some badass scruffy cheeks. **** yeah!

Also carrying the severed heads of Fox pundits. That would be awesome!

Sense of humor: dangerous lows.

I really dont think such an obvious fake photo is going to have an effect on poeple's opinions.

It's kind of weird, I watch Fox all the time but I never see any of this shit. Ever. They seem pretty straight when I watch them.

By "photoshopped" I expected stupid motivational posters.

How long before the station begins to issue childish name calling?

"IDIOT FACE!"

Are you watching fox "news" or are you watching the tv network with simpsons on it. 2 totally different networks (eventhough they are owned by the same company).

I thought that at first but after reading the transcript of when they were used I'm not so sure, Fox was definitely out to get these guys.

Either way it's another poor showing from Fox News, those images would be more at home on late night comedy than a news channel.

Which is why I think, 'why the hell do we care'

It's completely childish, and is not going to change anyone's opinion of that man.

So why are we pissed when a stupid company does something stupid?

Do we get pissed off when Jack Thompson embarasses himself? No, it's great news for us. Why is this different?

Recap:

A: This is an embarassment for fox news.

B: We hate fox news.

A + B = Hooray!

I sometimes watch the morning news....

and then I watch The Simpsons later.

News. NEWS. People don't know what journalism means because this shit is all they've grown up with. A LOT of people watch these major news networks and TRUST THEM, ignorant of the fact that practically anything of importance is misrepresented/ignored/ridiculed.
