fps limit

in hl and NS and CS, i cant only get 60 fps max, and i have the 1337 gaming rig

why is that? i mean, im happy with 60fps, but with a smoke grenade in cs my fps gpes down to 19? is it software?

You might want to up your ram to 1gig. and turn off vsync if you dont know how to do it look around on google. Also in CS you could just set your smoke detail a step lower

disable vsync, type "fps_max 200" and "developer 1" in the cs console. set opengl quality to "balanced". still shit? use an earlier driver, they ****ed the opengl driver somewhere along the line.
