There is a tunnel near the end of the game, before a huge warehouse that you have to work your way up through. The tunnel has water in it, though it's kind of hard to see since reflections aren't obvious here. I get like 5fps here. It makes no sense. The rest of the game runs smooth as glass. It's this tiny stupid tunnel with little detail...the next giant, complex warehouse runs perfect...madness.
Also, I run the game at 1280x1024 2xaa 4xaf. This is up from 1024x768 no aa or af. The fps is almost the same in both cases! Turning down detai/resolution makes almost no difference for me! The thing that does make a difference is vsync. That will make my game run stupid.
