First my specs real quick -
P4 2.6C
512 DDR2 ram
Abit IC7 Max3
Asus 9600XT
My fps in cs and the VST hops from 20 to 100+ every millisecond or so. It Just doesn't seem normal, I never get a consistent FPS. Using cl_showfps1 my fps flashes red to green ultra fast to the point that I can barely even make out the numbers. Any suggestions would help - thanks for your time.
