Fps/tick rate problems

I cant get any higher then 58 fps and 60 tick out. I have all the commands set. cl_cmdrate 100, cl_updaterate 100, fps_max 300. I should be able to get well over 200 fps on this computer, i gota nvidia 9800 n a intel 3.00 dual core cpu. All my drivers are up to date but i still cant get higher then 58 fps n 60 tick out.

Your computer is probably forcing a setting called V-sync. Make sure it's turned off in the game settings and in your graphics card settings.
