Fracture new Lucas Arts\Dayone game.

Rgr. Im really hoping its not all look but also has a decent story to drive the game play. A lot of games these days have good game play but no story. Gears of War, phenomenal game play but zero story.

Cool tech they have, and looks like a more next-ten GeoMod engine with more than just destroying the environment.

Hopefully it'll be a good game though.

No PC version ?,,,,,,, /me is not interested :)

:eek:riginal idea and technology...can't wait for next gen star wars.

Mark my words, there will be plenty of spots where you cannot deform the terrain, and even more spots where you're "supposed" to. This will be as linear as any old shooter.

Ya good point.

Nice idea, but I hope they put more into the game than making the whole terrain thing a main point. I know it's a very good point, but at least build up around it, y'know? That trailer looked unappealing as hell, and I'm not one to complain much about graphics but I was really put off my the environment, characters and hell, even the explosions/terrain deformation looked nasty in places.

Reminded me of that Brute Force game, and Mace Griffin. Dunno why.

They're definitely going in the right direction with interactive environments. A completely destructible map has been something I've always wanted in a video game.

I've seen fully destructible maps(games) done far better than what has been showcased in these videos, sadly those games require PhysX PPU to use, but oh they appear to be so sweet, especially in MP..

What game do you speak of?

Looks like some people are takin a lesson from Red Faction.

Game looks like a neat idea, but the gameplay looks like it will be boring as ****.

Can't remember its name, it was sponsored by PhysX though, it ran on the UE3.0 with the PPU PhysX core, it was mainly MP focused but had a SP too, the MP was IIRC a huge city map, divided into smaller block maps, all environments were fully destructible, and the destruction remained from one map to the next(It was fought as a campaign, back and forth depending on who lost, the match ended when one had conquered the entire map).
When the entire campaign ended, the map reset.

Edit: Found it! http://www.netdevil.com/games/warmonger.php

Sounds interesting but there is no media.
