frame rates....

Ive been playing CSS for past few weeks (new to css) and keep seeing people talking about increasing frame rates with commands and stuff. What commands give better performance and how do I go about typing them in? cheers

no not frame rates, its known as 'rates'. i believe it adjusts your 'lag' on the server so it makes it easier to shoot someone with a higher rate, as the server calculates shots quicker....tbh im not sure so stop laughing at the back as i cant hear you...

cl_bumpmap 0 -turm it to zero for better rates

it's a good balance between fps and eyecandy... took my stress test results from 60 something to around 100 fps
