When i launch up CS:Source and do a stress test i get around 90 fps, which is normal for my system. And when i play, it's perfectly smooth, until i've played for some time, suddenly the frame rates drop to the 60 area and below, and if i disconnect and do a stress test i get around 60 fps! The only way to get back to 90 fps is to restart the game. This is very annoying for me since suddenly i notice the game is choppy and then i'm often in the middle of a game. Anyone noticed this? The game seems to get "tired" after a while and drop down the frame rate.
BTW : I'm using Catalyst 4.9 which works best with HL2 since any version over 4.9 gives insane stuttering (Escpessialy the 4.12's)
Specs :
Intel P4 3ghz
1 gig ram
ATI Radeon 9800 non pro overclocked @ Core : 371 , Mem : 330
