It isn't even Mock the Week anymore, it's now Thursday night with Frankie Boyle for 30 minutes.

(I love Mock the Week, just it doesn't seem anyone else really seems to be able to step up as much as he does)

Frankie, Dara O'Briain and David Mitchell whenever he's on are the reasons I watch the show.

The last seasons hasn't had nearly as many memorable moments as the last five have. That said, David Mitchell was hilarious last week and Dara is always pretty funny, but Hugh has barely said a word since the start, Russel is still talking about his childhood and/or jokes that involve making funny noises and Parsons is still just as British as ever.

All are funny, don't get me wrong, this series just feels a little lackluster when compared to others. Frankie has been only person to really make me laugh this series.

Parson's voice is unconcievingly annoying though. Anytime he talks for more than three seconds it's torture. And frankly Hugh needs to stop recycling gags (not that the others are totally innocent of this but Hugh is the worst, he really only shines when he dubs the royal family). Russel goes on about his childhood alot, it's true but hey- it works pretty good.

I'll admit I have a huge love of Mitchell. He's brilliant in every panel show he's on, not to mention Peep Show or That Mitchell and Webb Look, which is probably the best sketch show in the last ten years.
