Currently getting a 33% on Rotten Tomatoes, I'm glad this movie is failing at least in terms of ratings. No doubt will this movie rake in the cash this holiday season, as most Santa movies do. I've always merely tolerated Christmas movies, due to their often corny storylines and acting, but hell what else are they going to do with a children's movie, but Fred Claus pisses me off. Why?

On that list includes Paul Giamatti, Kathy Bates and my gentleman lover, Kevin Spacey. Put these three actors in a different script handled by a capable director and you have Emmys and Oscars written all over it. It's really a shame to see this talent be wasted in this movie ("A slew of talent is wasted in this contrived Christmas film," titles the Reviews page on RT.). Bah humbug is right.

Fred Clause was actually good. I had to see it with my 8 year old cousin. Had some really corny scenes, but it's honestly a pretty decent movie in my book, and I'm very much sick of Vince Vaughn myself.
