Download "The white chamber". It's free. And it's ****ing amazing.

I've only played a few adventure games, mainly broken sword and monkey island... but this free program is more enjoyable, emotionally wrenching and gripping than both combined. Download it.

It only takes about 2-3 hours to complete... BUT FOR GODS SAKE, PLAY IT!!!

For the annoyingly impatient, there's a guide here,, but for your own sake, only use it when you REALLY need to (I only needed it twice, and once was to find out how you open the inventory hehe).

The strange thing is, the game is so compelling you really get drawn into it... which means when all the wierd, twisted, disturbing horror aspects smack you in the face; you really do feel genuinely scared... even though you can't die.

A piece of advice? When you get to the fridge... save.

Seriosuly play this.

I'm pretty certain that at this point in time, Suicide42 would recommend it to a dead person.

Yes. The only thing that's actually anime is the characters, and seeing as you only really see your own character, that's not a lot. Bah, just play it. It's really, really good.

Most of you will probally get bored and hate it, then flame me for intergrating my imagination into a 2D game... but... BAH.

As for this game, if it's free, it'd have to be pretty bad to make it not worth getting....sign me up! I'll be back to give my verdict in a few days...yes, I suck that bad

OK, I finished it, a bit quicker than I said I would. Took me twice as long because of that bloody fridge! (note: create ANOTHER save at that point. I just saved over my main one, ack)

It was pretty cool. Genuinely creepy! I get freaked out by survival horror type stuff at the best of times so maybe veterans wont find it all that scary, but it was definitely tense for me while it lasted. Couple of nods to Event Horizon type stuff (I noticed a quote from that film...). Kind of cool story, though I'm not sure I fully understood it at the end. Comes recommended if downloading 300Mb isn't that big a deal to you. Nice find, suicide.

Anyone who does download it note: you get a couple of alternate endings depending on how you answer the questions you're given.

Suicide there is also a game called snatcher, made by Kojima, which kicks absoluted ass, an anime cyberpunk adventure, you can dowload the whole game from homeof the underdogs I mean this game rocks, when even the Guys that hates everything loves it.

Oh yeah, and you haven't played adventure games untill you played DoTT
Anyway, BS3 is now very cheap and I like it a lot

I would have played it through again to see the opposite ending, but I had already played it almost twice through due to that stinking fridge ;( I guess maybe that means I didn't get it first time... Maybe I'll go back to it sometime for the ones I haven't seen.

You didn't have to play it all over again, you just had to save at the point hwere you were trapped in quarantine. Then you could get three endings, and you had that firedeg before that, luckly I save very, very often.
