Free Firewall advice

I used McAfee 2007 on XP but since moving onto Vista I cant use it as its not compatible. Can anyont recommend a FREE firewall program? I am using AVAST for Anti-Virus which works great.

I have tried a few things here and there, but I have learned they are too much of a hassle. You're better off just sticking with Windows Firewall. It does it's job. The only real reason you would want a third-party firewall is if you wanted more complex rules or wanted to block outgoing connections.

It is pretty strict by default. Lot of pop-ups for the first time asking if program A is OK to go online etc.
