Seriously, this is freaking amazing on Microsoft's behalf. Whoever is in charge of their PR is a genius and deserves a raise. So if your still on the fence about a 360 this may be the tipping point. Why does anyone even bother making Halo related threads anymore D: When it's just going to boil down to half the forum jumping in to say "Man, Game X That You Like sucked, because you actually didn't enjoy it because it's not fun, because I say so. Clearly Publisher Y That I Hate just paid lots of money to make you think that it's fun, and nobody actually plays it. Really. Man, you're so easily led. You should listen to me and play Game Z That I Like instead because I know better than you."

ive played all the 3 and its a load of over glorified crap. the media has gutted halo way to much and killed it.

This is a genius decision on Microsoft's behalf.

As for the whole Halo vs Half Life thing, yeah the media seriously overdoes it. Plus if you say it's "great multiplayer fun" without putting emphasis on how great the single player is (which quite frankly it sucks), then just play a game from Valve that was built based on multiplayer and not a multiplayer game wraped around a single player game, so go ahead and try something like Team Fortress 2 or Day of Defeat Source instead of Halo.
