A good number of message boards have jumped onto this deal, and all have agreed that it is real. Quite a few people have received their free ipods.
Proof

It works like this: you sign up at their website and complete one of the free offers. Some of the offers require a credit card, some don't. Wait until the freeipods website gives you credit for the offer and then cancel your trial subscription or whatnot. So far you have paid $0, just spent a few minutes of your time. You then get 5 friends to sign up at the freeipods site and complete one of the offers. Once you have 5 referrals, you get shipped the free ipod of your choice.

Lets start a line of people so we can get referrals going, I guess I'll post my link, but whoever is next will be added at the top of the thread and so on until we get a good line going. Everyone sign up using the first referral link on the list until its full. And when you leave a post with your referral link, make sure you say how many complete referrals you have (0/5, 1/5, etc.) and how many pending referrals you have.

No thanks. Even if it somehow worked I would have no interest in giving out my contact information just so I could get spammed.

Oh, and this has already been posted.

Yeah, you're right, it's 'free'. The two scams are:
1. You gotta buy other stuff to get it free.
or
2. Find 5 other saps to refer you, and they each have to find 5 to get theres, etc. until a ton of people are stuck having to pay. Or something like that. I dunno, BUT IT'S A $(@[v]!!!

I still don't believe in it, and that 'John' guy looks scary !!!

its costs, u gotta use a credit card, and most people on this board are not 18

Nothing in this piece of shit life is free, NOTHING!

If one would only search freeipods on google, more links point to the site working than it being a scam.

Also, you can do it without a credit card now, just sign up for the ebay offer and use an email address other than hotmail or yahoo and make one bid, you dont even have to win the auction.

Alot more people should be able to do this now.

hmmm looks like it might actually work now. But I think you might get dinged for canceling whatever offer you use. Well, even if you're charged 50 bucks, thats worth an iPod. I'll look into it and if it does work, I'll tell you guys. Otherwise, I'll never be heard from again!

Ive had people go through the Ancestry.com offer, it gives you instant credit and can be cancelled easily by calling them.

AOL gives you credit usually after 24 hours, as does ebay.

You really don't have to pay a dime, nothing to lose.

I'd be totally down with doing this with you guys. All of the people I know in real life are all too incompetent with computers for this to work. Lets get this started!

Do you guys know what the word "Fraud" means? That is what you are doing. Instead of doing it to a 65 year old retired person on social security, you are doing it to a company. Ripping off a company isn't more right than ripping off an old lady.

That reminds me, if you haven't watched Matchstick Men, go and rent it tonight. It is an awesome movie.

Sorry, but u guys are outa luck i believe. I think they have probably already given away the 400 ipod limit.

its still goin. i dont think theres a limit until they said so. my friend got his yesterday. :flame:

4 signed up none confirmed...help a brother out, I did the blockbuster one. 2 week free trial, cancel before the 2 weeks and it is free. Help me Please!

Better watch out that it doesnt backfire on you. Don't forget, you most probably typed all your details in. Therefore they know where you live. Screwing the company out of free ipods. not too smart if you ask me.

Banned - this isn't somewhere to advertise your pyramid schemes.
