Freespace 1 and 2 cutscenes for download!

The cutscenes for Freespace 1 and Freespace 2 have been uploaded. This is useful for people who have the HOTU version and have never seen them, or for people who for example played FS2 but not FS1 (the cutscenes explain the story pretty well)

I figured this was worth throwing in again (I made a thread before, but didn't include this FAQ link that is much better at explaining than me)
Information and COMPLETE instructions on getting this game are now here. The community is working bigtime on it since they released the sourcecode so it's like a completely new game

You can have a version like HOTU to get it.

The SCP has updated so many things it's pretty much like Freespace 2.5 technology wise. I enclosed a quick GTF Perseus screenshot in the other thread I linked to (that's what it looks like ingame. I love the SCP)

The greatest improvement to me is FSNETD. Since PXO went down online play was gone, but they brought it back and you can now join servers again with FSNETD

A great game, just not my cup of tea

You should try it if its abandonware. Shame that space epics have fallen to the way side. It would be nice to see a space game with whiz bang graphics and a great story.

in fact it's sitting right next to me.
