Freezing Objects

In 3d Studio Max 6 is there any way of changing the colour of objects set to freeze. I have drawn an outline of my character with the line tool but has turned grey when i have freezed it. So basicly its pritty much the same colour as the background . Any way of chaning this?

change the background colour, the whole point in freezing the object is so you dont accidentally select it, when other objects are around so keeping it grey shouldnt be that bad.. i dont think you can but im not sure

yea hehe i know what the point is im not that n000bie hehehe but i dont really wanna change backgroudn colour coz its what im used to

You have to change it in Customize>Customize User Interface>Colors and where it says Elements: use the drop-down menu to select Gemetry, then select Freeze and change the colour there.

Right click the object, go to Properties, then uncheck the "Show Frozen in Gray" box.
