Hi folks, here is the thing.
After having a major HD crash i installed Win XP again and wanted to play CS:S
I had installed Steam and all the games on a different drive before the crash so now i thought i just install steam to the same dir and everything would work like before. But it doesn't.
All the info is there for steam and i can still login and see all my games, but when trying to launch CS:S or HL2 it just gives me the popup that the the is starting and after 3 seconds it goes away and thats it, NO PLAY!
I have DirectX 9.0c and the latest nVidia drivers installed.
Is there any way to fix this or do i have to reinstall the game again?
Thnx.
