News:

  • Kane & Lynch 2 ditches Games for Windows Live for Steamworks - According to PC Gamer, the cops and robbers sequel would also drop Microsoft?s reviled copy protection and match-making system for Valve's Steamworks[br]
  • Defense Grid: Resurgence Map Pack 3 Released - Urban Planning and Tactical Diversion - It?s the third of four great map packs in the Resurgence series. Urban Planning is a dense environment with restrictive build spaces, forcing difficult decisions against continuously attacking hordes. In Tactical Diversion, survey the small, snow covered platform and consider numerous possibilities. But be prepared for the aerial assault

Left 4 Dead 2 Mutation:
  • Headshot!
    • The only shot that counts is the one in the head.

Shoot them in the arm, shoot them in the leg, shoot them in the chest - it just doesn't matter! The only way these zombies are going down is with a head shot. Other hits will stumble them back, but only a head shot or decapitation will kill them.

It's also $14.99 for me. I'm glad IO ditched Windows Live. It's crap.

**** it I'll probably get dead space. Just played it some, and I know, abit late to the party whatever, but **** me it's intense. I just figured out that you can stomp those crates with the green lights. AND THERE'S STUFF IN THEM! Wish I had known that when I had no ammo and was trying to outrun some bitching monsters.

Spore is wildly overpriced. I still enjoy the fact that I got it in India for $20. It's about 3-4 hours of evolution followed by infinite space travel colonizing planets over and over again the same way and fighting off CONSTANT pirate attacks. Expansion are too expensive and offer very little. I think Spore was for people who like to build fancy creatures and don't want to do anything worthwhile with them. It was neat seeing other people's creations in your game but that was about it. I had much higher ambitions.

I might grab Dead Space though... despite the fact I was just talking about how I don't realy like horror games all that much.

I hated Spore. Dead space is pretty cool though.

I also got Mirror's edge

Very nice! Mirror's Edge for only a few quid! Just made the purchase.

Tempting, but I certainly don't need more games and I only barely care about these ones, despite their delicious price.

I got Dead Space and Mirrors Edge for the price of nowt when EA made their **** up on their UK store a while back. I have since bought the physical versions though as the games deserve to be bought. Both sold like shit and deserved so much more.

Also, Spore is shit.

Hahahaha, I bought the SPORE Galactic Edition for $19.99 at the Circuit City Going out of business Liquidation sale in March of 09. SAVED $79.99 Good deal, kinda.... the game is shallow...

Five dollars is about the right price for Mirror's Edge I'd say.
