friend needs advice, looking at 9800pro 256mb

hes been checking out this site looking at prices:

anyone have any preferences as to which 256mb card is better? and how much better compared to the cheaper 128mb? if you've got one of those cards (or know someplace cheaper to buy, any useful info regarding the 9800pro) post a response. thanks

256meg cards arent really very much better in most circumstances.

I have the 128 9800 pro, and I sboslutely love it. I have also heard that there is not very much difference at all between the 256 and 128, they both have 256 memory interface. I don't know how much you are looking at there (I havn't clicked the link yet) but I bought mine just last week from Best Buy for 199.99. GL, its a good card

buy the 128mb pro as its a far better card for your money... going for the 256mb card will only give you a 2-3fps boost in most cases.
