Whenever I add someone to my friends list...I can't see their name in the friends network...any help?

Are you sure the they have a friends account.. ?
Even if they do though, and you can find them, the whole friends system is very buggy and unreliable so it's not really worth using it anyway in its current state.
You would be better off using a programme such as xfire (http://www.xfire.com/xf/index.php)
