As the title says... When I flick the switch on the back of the psu then press the power button up front, my pc does'nt boot, so I have to flick the switch on the psu...press the power button... flick the switch on the psu to switch off...then switch it back on and my pc boots as normal.

Bloody annoying it is too!

Now normally I'd just google this problem..or rebuild my pc ..but I can't be arsed..so hwo about one of you guys solve my problem or point me in the right direction.

My 550w PSU..is a few months old..and barely goes below its specified voltages by more than 5%...12+V rail is about 11.65v or thereabouts.

My motherboard has the 1005 bios installed..and has been ultra stable in the months since I've bought it.

My Geforce has a custom bios...but no voltage increases...its currently running at a spec below as stated in my sig, since I had to move my TV card next to it, and I took the huge fan off the geforce and declocked it to 450/750.

No artifacts in games, etc...apart from the annoying read memory errors and stuttering in HL2 occasionally (like several hundred other HL2 players).

So what do you reckon?

ive had to do that with my 7 year old compaw or its even older than that but i have no idea how u fix it

It is probably a faulty PSU. If you can send it back and bet a new one.
