Front-line in Afghanistan (helmet cam)

There used to be a show on the Military/Discovery/History channel when the Iraq war first started that was just helmet cam footage and interviews with soldiers. Really interesting/intense footage.

I think it was called My War Diaries.

Edit - Yup, My War Diary

I always turn off head bobbing in the game options.

Yeah, and I think I would have adjusted the FOV. Seemed a little wonky to me, you could barely see his hands.

No cover fire for the guy with the 60mm (?) while he's reloading? Is that normal?

Six and a half minutes of dudes shooting at trees.

TAKE THAT, NATURE

He didn't let the "drawmer" of being shot get in his way.

And a a minute of a guy being shot in the face

wasn't even a full on bullet wound. if i were the helmet cam dude i'd have been all "it's just a fleshwound! keep firing!"

if they couldn't see their targets they should have been developing cover with the dirt along the other side of those sandbags then wait till the Taliban: a) run out of ammo and leave b) stay long enough for the troops backup to arrive c) wait until the Taliban try to move in closer and pwn em.

it is hard to concentrate when you're under live fire like that though...i'd know

I bet you could convince someone that this is gameplay footage of Modern Warfare 3.
