KK hl2.net, I wanna install an inline fuel filter on my dirtbike, right behind the fuel cock.

Fist, i'll obviously need to measure the diameter of my fuel hose.

Problem is, the fuel hose is attached to the fuel cock pretty tightly, and I don't want to stretch or tear the hose.

Then there'll be the problem of getting it back on...

you'll need to measure the inner diameter of the hose, I'm sure you already know. So you're going to have to take it off (unless you can find the measurements online). All I can say is be very careful. I hate working with old rubber/plastic parts because you can be as gentle as you can be and still something will break. Just take it slow, and use some lube.
