fx-5600 vs radeon 9600 pro?

Which is best right now?

I can buy a 5600 at my local store for 150(on sale at byteware.net), and I can buy a 9600 pro for 200.

I am now torn yet again, when I had decided on the 9600... now this sale pops up..

Damn you Byteware, Always one step ahead of me.

or you could do the tradeup program the ATI has availible from thier site, you send in your old card and they credit you for it, so your new card costs less.

I live in Hawaii, so the cost difference would be X'd out by the shipping costs. One of the bad things about living in Paradise.

The HOTTEST it gets here is about 80 degrees normally. Coldest is also 65. I hated the heat in Dallas, and was amazed at how cool Honolulu is. The surrounding ocean cools down the temperature of the air here, along with the constant tradewinds. Sometimes it gets to 95 when the tradewinds stop. It's rare to see though.

Maybe Europe, lol, I remember that heat wave. Temperatures of 35C - LOL! Down here in Aussie the hottest it gets is 44-45.
In the middle east its like 38C on a cool day, LoL. (I used to live there)

I used to live in a really northern part of canada -- now I live in ohio, sucks, the heat is unbearable for me
