Gabe Newell, Valve's co-founder, made a guest appearance earlier this week on Next-Gen.Biz's 7th Podcast episodehttp://podcast.next-gen.biz/?p=11. The topics concentrate more so on the Steam platform and its future, as well as how far Gabe is willing to take the episodic concept of gaming with his company; His stance remains to be seen, at least until all 3 of the Half-Life 2 episodes have been released.[br]To hear it all yourself, follow the yellow brick roadhttp://podcast.next-gen.biz/?p=11![br]Also, Next-Gen.Biz has posted a transcript of the interview. You can get that herehttp://www.next-gen.biz/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=4070&Itemid=2&limit=1&limitstart=0.

They are working on having steam keep your saved games online? cool
A few people on here have lost their saves or reformated. You could even load the game on another PC and resume where you left off then.

Great feature that i cannot wait for is the save games anywhere. But thats old news. I remember reading a interview about that a while back. I really want to hear about the new CSS updates!!!!

Bah, for a minute I thought Gabe was going to be doing like weekly podcasts on what's going on at Valve and shit, that would be so incredibly awesome.

that would be excellent, i work at a lan center and its annoying to put people on specific pcs because they have a saved HL2 game on it

good interview.

I like Gabe's comeback about Id not having any problems licensing their engines to other developers.
