Gah, i need the preload, help

ok, i have the ati thingy i want to preload, how do i do it

goto. browse game->register a product key-> enter your ati key. and it should ask if u want to preload or not

Start up steam, at the main menu go to browse games, then 'Register a product I already own...'.
