Gah! No mouse and/or keyboard...

Bah, looks like my mouse and keyboard on my main computer (the one with HL2 on it) don't register anymore. I can use other mice and keyboards, but i rather like mine...

Anyway, after a power shortage while playing HL2DM, the computer dosn't seem to register my Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keyboard 1.0A or my Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0

Help me, i want to get back to crossbowing people to walls.

they could have blown. Though try them on a different computer, see if they still work or not. It's possible the powercut just confused things a little and they might right themselves if you play around with them a little.. drivers might have become corrupt too even.

Have you tried re-installing the drivers?

Have you hit the little Connect button on the back of the keyboard & mouse or on the wireless unit? Maybe try plugging it into a different USB port.

I once had a connection issue with my Logitech MX series set. I just messed with it til it worked. Took out the batteries, reset the wireless, and it eventually came back. I'm not sure which of the following did the trick though. =p
