Surprised noone ever made a thread on this. What is everybodies opinion on gambling. Me personally? I love it. I don't do it very often, but I like it

If you post here that you dislike gambling, please explain why! I doubt there'll be much of a debate, since most people here probably accept and enjoy it, but you never know!

Would also be interested in knowing your favorite games, whether it be craps, slots, poker, blackjack, roulette, etc!

Me personally... I like craps, blackjack, and roulette.


EDIT: Mod, can you please add a poll for this? Something along the lines of I love gambling! and I dissaprove of/do not like gambling.

I have and never will gamble, dont get me wrong, I dont think its evil.. or theres anything wrong with it, but its just not for me.

Edit: Apparantly these ads are triggered by keywords found on the page. I guess it wasn't a coincidence I'm stupid.

Only think gambling related I ever do is when my dad brings home some lottery tickets that he just buys for fun.

Oh... thats probably why I dont do it often. I don't have the skill to make any serious cash. I love the idea of card counting with blackjack, and dice manipulation in craps. Its all legit in my mind, since you're using your brain, and not cheating.

However, I don't know how to do any of those things :-/

As for me, it is fun.. Just the excitement I suppose. Its go big or go home for me.. I like roulette, poker, and the good ol' black jack.

I knew someone would say that. It looks fake to me too. But the chances of an ad like that appearing are very likely, because like someone said, the ad is based on the thread you are in. Keep refreshing the thread until you see the ad if you still don't believe me. Because honestly, why would I waste my time to make up something like that? I sometimes let my 18 month old son run around without a diaper for a few minutes before his bath ...that's enough of a gamble for me ..I like living dangerously :E

I don't see anything wrong with it, but it's not my thing. I went to Las Vegas with some friends and had a great time, but not because of the lure of the dice. More like the coopious amounts of alcohol, insidiously attractive women, and the clubs. Oh yes, the clubs. (drool)
