Game Advisor You can search for games and it tells you how well your comp can run them! I tested TS2 and my comp was at the top of the scale :smoking:
HL2 is not there though :(

That's pretty cool. Lot better than that one HL2 test.
I forgot Cool&Quiet was on when I ran that test so it picked up my CPU speed as 1.1GHz. haha

It is glitched, for Doom 3, it said the recommended specs were A64 2.2GHz, 1GB RAM, 6800 Ultra. My computer appeared 2 bars better than that system! haha

No, I'm saying that it shows my computer to be '2 bars' better than the ideal one. (whatever that means)

According to this test.. My PC *rocks* Far Cry. It's lumps from minimal and one lump from recommended (Basically it's at the top).

Umm... Maybe I should, umm, magically get Far Cry and test it myself :).

And I didn't know HL1 only had a ~200mhz cpu requirement, lol.

This isn't accurate at all.. for my machine atleast -.-

Cool&Quiet is the Desktop version of PowerNow! which is in laptops. It clocks the CPU down when it is not under heavy use and back to full speed when you open an intesive application.

The system speed does not change so it does not slow down the use of the PC. The memory, the bus speeds and everything are the same. Normally many CPU cycles are wasted anyway.
It reduces the voltage and the multiplyer on the CPU. This way it also runs very cool and uses very little power.

Some people really love it since before their computer would always heat up their room by quite a bit. It would even dry out the air in the room and humidifiers generally can't keep up but with Cool&Quiet that isn't the case.

My CPU is OCed so it is a little different but simlar. My CPU speed is 2.3GHz right now while I'm in games and other applications but it clocks my CPU down to 1.1GHz (If not OCed I believe it goes to 1GHz) when I'm just idle or have winamp, IM, internet browser and other like applications open. Still just as responsive as ever.
