Game/Computer Magazine Scans - 1982/83!

Today we have games with near life like graphics, advanced A.I, etc. Sometimes some of us forget that not so long ago games where still in the pioneering stage. Check this link out to get a small taste or for some a small reminder of what a gamer in the early 80's would read when they got their latest issue of their favorite magazine in the mail.

yea. for some reason I still had tons of old gaming magazines I came accross a few years ago. Glancing through the pages it's almost disturbing. I quickly threw them out. i couldn't bear to see these NES and SNES games in the pictures. WOW AMAZING GRAPHICS. "Life like graphics" - Intellevision.

LOL yea RIGHT!


And looking at these scans of old magazines, from the first consoles, its just disturbing reading what they say about them. their whole adds basically say, "who would be such a fool to buy the other guys game system" and lots of insults.

Negative campain adds .. you don't see this much anymore. It would be like a Nintendo advertisement that does nothing but say how much the xbox is a bad choice... instead of just saying why the nintendo is a good choice. In fact I don't even see Adds for consoles anymore. Only for the games.

Im glad they are gone.

Without these magazines, most companies wouldn't have made the game we now play so joyfully anyway.

I love reading old gaming magazines. Also gives me knowledge about almost every game on the world

My earliest PC Mag is a PCPP when the Sims was released. Not that old, really.
