the game is crashing on start up just says encountered a prob. and needs to close please help

i was running a 1.70 Ghz i heard that will not run oblivion. soo unless anyone has any ideas im gonna buy a amd 2.0 Ghz processor in a box . i hope this game is worth it

try installing the beta patch. before you go out and buy hardware.

just installed the patch .
