Game developer get's attacked a day before release

Gabe Newell, CEO of valve software got attacked by a band of fans on his way to Pizza hut. Newell, who happened to carry the final goldmaster version of the much-anticipated Half-life 2 PC game in his back pocket got mugged in broad daylight.Newell stated to the press that he was totally baffled by the actions of the fans and now that Half-life 2 will be delayed till 2006.

Valve software's marketing director Doug Lombardi was not present to give any comment as of yet.

Its sad that people have come on this site and openly supported game piracy...how can they possibly believe something like this is ok?
