Game Has Decided Not To Work Anymore!!!! This has been the BIGGEST HEAD F*CK EVER!!!!!
This Steam caper is one stupid idea, i have paid my money loaded the game now this f*cking piece of sh*t dictates to me if i can play it or not..........im so close to returning this game...........sorry for the outburst but i am now so mad with all this f*cking around when i just want to sit down after work and enjoy the f*cking game i paid for......

Now to the question.........i played the game for 30 minutes last night after all the head f*cks, i also had the sound problems but atleast i got to play it, today i get home from work, turn on the comp and select play games from "Steam" *sshole of an idea........i get the valve screen with the guy with the valve in his eye, a brief flash of a blurry water landscape picture, then black then the landscape screen with loading in the bottom right corner, i then hear the error windows sound and then im back to desktop, what the hell is the problem and is there a way to fix this, i have read the posts, well as many as i can and have no idea where to go now, any help please!!

Your best bet would be to join 50% of other HL2 owners tommorow night, as we lay the CD's to rest on top of one another, douse in petrol, slowly raise Gabe up on a crucifix bit by bit and set the whole shit on fire.

The only difference between Valves head man and Jesus would be the fact that this is one mother****er that won't be ressurecting anytime soon.

LMAO....dude you have made me laugh, i thankyou for that, this sh*t is just so f*cking lame i am amased how a game like this can be ruined by such a backward idea..................now if any one has a fix im all ears coz now im not laughing anymore, im pretty well pissed off i cant play this game.

It seems they have a lot of problems... anyone know if D3 had similar probs? Is the hype just making things appear bad, or have VALVe really messed up thing?

I'd have to agree now that steam has issues - corrupt files, various other probs. The whole thing is just a bit buggy. Good idea, poorly implemented it appears.

doom 3 came out flawless. i cound some 30+ errors with half-life2 and steam.
