Game returns to main screen during gameplay. HELP!

Hey all. Just wanted to know if anybody else is having the same problem i'm having. I'm just about to finish the part of the game where you have to cross the bridge to shut down a force field blocking your way. I've destroyed the Gunship and made it back to the other side of the bridge and as soon as I go to open the last door before returning outside, the game brings me back to the main screen. It don't freeze or anything, it just comes up "Loading..." like it always do between game sections, and then just dumps back to the main screen. Anybody ever hear of this?

The game has been running flawlessly until now!


I'm brand new here, so I haven't set up my profile yet, but my computer gaming stats are below.

P4 2.1Ghz Athlon
1GB pc3200 400mhz
256mb Ati Radeon 9550 AGP

Type status in the console, and see what map you are on.

And then add 1 to the end for example

d2_coast_06

Put map d2_coast_07

Because you are at the end of the level so maybe just loading it up from the console might solve your problem.
