Game runs ridiculously fast

Quick question: last night I played a couple of DOD:S rounds and noticed that on every server the speed was ridiculous, everything went twice or three times the normal speed, and my ping was really low (5-8ms) . Is there something wrong or is this normal?

lol, so it must have something to do with my new rig (dual amd 64 4200). I must say my score was noticeably higher!

i don't think valve have addressed the 64 bit processor problem to this day - it's been an issue for the more wealthy since the release of CSS and then HL2
there should be a few threads lying around these forums about it if you want to go searching

Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2: Lost Coast are currently the only games available through Steam which support 64-bit CPU’s.

Still it's quite an advantage to have seeing as you haven't really done anything wrong - you can't be VAC banned at all too
