Game Specific ATi Tools?

I remembered reading about the Catalist Control Center, than that you would be able to set up profiles for certian games (e.g. Have AA or Vsynch turned on for certian games). I never could figure out how to to this, so I assume that I just read wrong.

Are there any tools out there that could do something like that?
I mainly want to know, because any Half-Life 1 based games have no option for V-Synch, which I'd really like to use since I have such an excess framerate. I know that with the ATi control pannel that I can turn V-Synch on manualy, but then it's on for every game, which I dont want.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
