Gameboy Color!

I work as a cashier at a gasstation, so there's alot of bored time. So I thought it's time for some super handheld gaming action!

So on Ebay I bought a Gameboy Color for $11.50


So, the point of my post is, what's some good games for gamecolor boy?

If you get passed the horrible trends and cartoon of it, you can have lots and lots of hours of simple fun from it.

LOL...... I've only had a Game Boy once.......and it was a Game Boy Color.......

and the ONLY game I ever played on it was Pokemon. hiln is very right too... Pokemon was a really cool game. Thank god the newest one comming out is going to be like the first!!!!!

seriosly, pokemon is such a class game. easily the best game boy color / advance game out there. Its an RPG with some serios class!!!

and yes, ignore the crappy fad about it. the game came first and its what started it all off- because it was ao kewl.

one of the games that i bought that was SUPER KEWL was an austin powers game, and it turned your GBC into either a super evil "dr.evil" PC, or a super groovy "austin powers" PC depending on what version you bought. You had a mouse and could cycle through loads of "programs" that mimicked what you could do on a PC. It had kewl music and each "PC" had about 3 games that could be a GBC game on their own. there was even an evil keneevel bike game!!! it was so kewl!!!

Pokemon rocks! I like gold/silver/saphire best but some people just like the classic blue/red/yellow. The best thing about it is battling friends :O.
Apart from pokemon most other games are shit so dont bother

Two words. Rainbow Six. Best game for the GBC. I play it to this day. Very tactical and it will take time off your hands. :naughty:

Haha you made me go and dig out my old GBC, it's ace! I'm gonna buy some more games for it now, what are the GTA games like on the GB?

So does that mean I should get pokemon reb blue or yellow? There's so many, it's confusing

go read reviews, but they are only slightly different. Yellow is supposedly based more around the show where pikachu follows you around. I liked red cuz that's the only one I played.

I have red myself, but I hear yellow is better. I'd go with yellow

Also, Megaman Xtreme 1/2 are great GBC games, as they're basically remakes of Megaman X1/2/3

legend of zelda games origonated on the GB, (or was it SNES?? meh, all the same) and top down 2D veiw is where the gameplay is at its best. buy Zelda. now. it will 0wnz0r pokemon. but get pokemon as well. because you need more than 1 game

They originated on NES. Though there are very good zelda games on GBC.

Forget the GBC, only GBA has Wario Ware. God, that game is the biggest MUST for any GBA owner.

At the Hollywood Video Game Crazy place across the street from my work they have oracle of ages and seasons used for 13 bucks each. so which one should i get?

Pokemon Yellow is better than red/blue... but I'm not sure if it's interchangable with them, so if you wanna trade with mates... idunno, look it up.
