gameinfo.txt error?

I posted this in the steampowered forums but it's such a hive of troll activity I doubt it will ever be seen by a Valve employee. It has a better chance here.

Anyway, I'm getting the attached error when double clicking Model Viewer in the Source SDK window in steam.

It looks like it's looking in the wrong place for the gameinfo.txt file, it's in the subdirectory "sdkcontent" relative to the path the error message references.

So maybe steam is just looking in the wrong place?

It's quite funny that the messagebox limit is too short for number (2) though...

I managed to find out one thing, its creating a "HL2" folder inside C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\your email\sourcesdk, which it shouldnt be, it thinks the files are in there.

Im trying to work out how to re-direct it.

Delete the sourcesdk folder completely, it reverts to the originals and works!
