I recently went on a game-spree, and bought 6 video games. 2 are some old games, that I had played long ago. The other four are fairly new.

I bought:
Kill.Switch
True Crime: Streets of LA
Armed & Dangerous
Deus Ex: Invisible War

I can give all great recommendations.

Kill.Switch - 8.5: Great Sound, and Gameplay. Very intense Combat. The the lowly detailed environments barely stand in the way of incoming fire. The enemy sometimes plays tricks by pretending to be harmed, then opening a spray of bullets. Downside, there's not enough of it. It's quite short.

Armed & Dangerous - 10: Frickin' hilarious, Great Graphics, Great Sound, Funnest Gameplay ever. The cut-scenes and voice-over are wonderful. This game is great. It's takes shots at the French, incorporate Militant Anti-Vegetarian Robots, and even manages to pull of many "Gay" jokes. It's quite dynamic, even.
It's like Lord of the Rings...with guns and a giant bag of humor.

True Crime: Streets of LA - 8.5...maybe a 9: Decent Graphics, Great Sound, and Awesome Gameplay. OMG! I haven't even tried beating the game, because driving around busting criminals is awesome. Each time it's different. The game randomizes what time crimes ahppen, and which crimes happen. You can also do random searches on people, sometimes find illegal weapons/drugs. I'm not sure how the story plays out, I just know busting scum-bags is great!

Deus Ex: Invisible War - 10: Great Graphics, Great Sound, Stunning Gameplay and Interactive Features. The biggest surprise of all! Some of you remember me saying it looked like crap, and will probably suck...I was wrong! I coudln't believe the range of interactivity, along with a well developed plot.

Tell me, is Deus Ex 2 the game better than the demo for you? Or did you like the demo all along?

Actually Deus Ex 2: The full version is much better than demo, because of the story line and choices you get to make. Now, I personally wasn’t very pleased with the way Deus Ex 2 came out, but hey, it still is a fun game. If you are searching for old Deus Ex experience in this game, I don’t think you will get a lot of it.

I'll give it a shot then, I can understand the demo not offering the full experience because of the limits inherent with demos. I figured it wouldn't be the same great Deus Ex experience, but if it's fun then no harm will come from playing it. It's nice to hear some good news today, thanks Mr.Reak :cheers:

I take it those are for Xbox? If so, how are the controls in kill.switch, I was considering trying that one out.

ya.... i just started deus ex 2.... it's way better than the demo... i think it was because we had high expectations for it.... hated the demo and expected a crappy game, and actually got a good one... very original marketing plan by ion storm and eidos

Yeah, Xbox is king.
Anyway; The controls quite nice, once you get used to them. The Training Course does a nice job of doing that.

Yeah, but they're also avaible for those of you who don't have Xbox.

Kill.Switch is for all Consoles.
True Crimes is for all Consoles.
Armed & Dangerous is for Xbox and PC.
Deus Ex 2 is Xbox and PC.

BTW: I never played the demo, heard it was utter crap...
This is far from crap. I love it!

i thought kill.switch was x-box only..... maybe i should pick it up... and i'm definately getting armed and dangerous! a 3rd person shooter with french and gay jokes??? count me in!

EDIT: kill.switch is for x-box and PS2 and will be for PC soon... god... u gotta love the PC.... if it doesn't come out on ur console... most likely will come out on PC.... like Halo, or Grand Theft Auto... i do feel bad for gamecube owners (me)... they never get the real mainstream games like kill.switch.... we get games like mario kart and metroid prime (GOD that was a sweet game!)

The game is awesome, it also makes fun of starwars and WW2!

GhostValkyrie, may I recommend a game to you? I think you would love the game Chaser. It's one of the best First Person Shooters every made in my opinion. AWESOME Story, graphics, sound, music score, gameplay, ETC. It features a HUGE Single Player with lots and lots of cool weapons and items, as well as a HUGE Multi Player mode with all kinds of different game types. I think that you would like the game. Heres the website if your interested. Has a demo, Trailers, ETC.

The gay Jokes are some of the best.

I bought 2 and its crap and im stuck with it thanks to a sh*t return policy

dx2 seems ok

You should also consider Prince Of Persia Sands of Time, really nice game. Graphically very good, great moves in combat (including running up walls and backflip over an opponent). It is short, but really good, which kinda goes for all great games the last few months
