lol it will be a nice move from Microsoft to release Halo 3 on the same day as the PlayStation 3.

I seriously doubt releasing Halo 3 on the same day as Playstation 3 will effect PS3 sales. Everyone knows that when a new console comes out they are practically sold out the second they hit the shelves.
