Wow, There might be some new stuff... but I don't know if Gamespy has had an article about the mag stuff yet.
 
i doubt it'll be anything new probably just a rehash of the info that the several magazines got, but i still hope it's new info!
 
i hope they have something new for us.

do you know if it's gonna be like an exclusive kind of thing like gabe visiting gamespy buildings and talking about hl2 to the editors or are they just gonna do what ign did, make a huge preview/feature about everything they know of hl2 before e3 comes

but i dont think it will be like IGN
cuz it says " Do You want to know the LATEST about HL2 "

I highly doubht that gamespy.com has anything new at all then what everyone has seen thus far. Otherwise, there would be a hudge add posted in the front page. :dozey:
 
good point, it'll probably be the rehash or a an ign type of feature/preview
 
Even rehashed hype is good enough for me at the moment.

just hearing about things from different people and their impressions is pretty cool....

plus E3 in 3.
 
now i know whyit has been delayed for a year,with all this talk of this physics and interaction with the enviroment bullshit,its now called:hl2:VICE CITY 17.i mean there ll be no story,only running around shooting cars with the manipulator.

actually according to ign e3 is in 2 days 22 hours and 15 mins!
we're almost there guys, more info and more vids in less than 3 days

i heard that's like the biggest rumor but if that really is sega's new console, well at least they're being original

This reminds me so much of last year... quite ismple because everything is happening EXACTLY like last year.
Last Year April: HL2 is announced in mags.
This Year April: New HL2 info in mags. Newest info after about a year.
This Year May: E3 including new demos!
Last Year May: E3 with first demos of HL2.
Last Summer: Suspected release date of HL2.
This Summer: Suspected release date of HL2.
Nostalgia!
 
It will be possibly the info we got on Half-Life 2 summed up in a long-ass-article.

I remember a beta leak somewhere in there.. forgot when.. but.. hey maybe a new one? :lol: just kidding..
 
'The latest' doesn't necessarily mean anything new.
 
Now that the NDA is lifted and the print mags are out and have had some time to hold onto their exclusives, online mags are ready to start having articles come out to. This is the exact same thing that happened last year: print mags announce HL2, and two weeks later, the online mags have articles and interviews up as well. Who knows if they will have any new or exclusive info, but I don't see why not, other than that maybe Valve now wants to keep quiet until after e3.
 
Could be interesting but like most of the tread I doubt it'll be anything groundbreaking. Unless some secret NDA expires midnight Sunday night... :O
 
wait wait wait. Who has been telling you Phantom is Sega's new console? I don't believe it is. It's made by a totally different company as far as I've read.
 
Phantom has nothing at all to do in any way, shape, or form with Sega. Its being supposedly made by an upstart company promising a lot of things that everyone is skeptical of. Its been hypothisized that the whole darn thing might even be a hoax to steal investors money. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
 
I hope that the Phantom is a true full-fledged kick ass console :D It will totally dominate all other consoles on the market so far with all the speed and power :D

Anyways, it will probably have the same stuff, maybe be a little more descriptive here and there like all other mags..... each one provides a different description and interpretation of the material presented to them :)
 
Don't expect the new E3 videos straight away. Last year, all we had was the Gamespy video and that was subscribers only for a bit. So we may have to wait a while.
 
This game spy preview come out 12:00? or tomaro sometime durring the day?
 
thought i read somewhere in my egm that the phantom was a rumored *new* console by sega
 
i would think tommoro during the day b/c gamespy isn't the type of website that does the midnight airing thing

and wow a guy who quotes himself....that's original! :E
