heres pros and cons:

Pros:
Great Deus Ex gameplay, trimmed of fat; excellent amount of player freedom; good graphics; unrealistic but fun physics.



Cons:
Smaller in scope than original; disappointing AI; streamlining may initially turn off vets; high PC requirements.

gamespy are gay mother****ers who have no taste and the person who reviewed it was obviously bought or swayed by the name. i'll wait for REAL reviewers to have a crack at it. skinnier???? more like shitter.

i've made up my mind about this game. the only way my opinion is ever gonna change is when i get my hands on the full version and see for myself. don't trust the corporate bitches.
 
Just wait for Something awfuls review that will do it justice.
 
streamlining.. well we can blame console users for this. the game was dumbed down for them. consoles always have to taint would-be great games.
 
I'm going to play the demo myself but judging that, and hopefully the game won't stink... :)

I still don't know. ;(
 
Reviews from Gamespy are like judges at the winter ice skating olympics.

:O you haven't played the demo?!?! every man and his dog has played it. get to it man!! (and 95% of people on this board think it stinks). let us know what you think.
 
I have 56K, on the wrong computer, with no CDR ;( and I just don't fancy making a multi-disk archive :hmph:

I download at 17kbs and everyone was saying it's shit and the new SS looked shit so I didn't bother.
 
it's worth hunting down a copy just so you know what's so bad about it as opposed to just reading how much we slate it. you never know you might even like it (but then i'll have to hunt you down and kill you so you don't go out and buy it and feed the beast)
 
I'd rather spend my bandwidth on the Kill Bill sound track and porn, If I buy a magazine with it on the cover discs I'll give it a go.

Anyway if I ever get into an argument about how crap it is I'll just pretend I'v played it. :cheese:
 
15 hours of gameplay, from Deus Ex title? Oh what the ****ing **** is that? I mean, COME ON, it is not freaking Max Payne 2 is it? Oh my god, I think I will have heart attack.

I can only imagine what happened to Thief III... ION I hope you won’t destroy Thief series, they are too great to be killed off by you.
 
15 hours?? Thats really ****ed up...im no longer buying such sort games for 50 bucks a pop...
