Indeed, this is a travesty. Goldeneye wipes the floor with Halo. Perhaps its because not many people bought N-64s.
 
I had Goldeneye, and the MP was alot of fun, but I thought SP was pretty ordinairy. Oh and now while we're talking about N-64, I just want to add that Zelda: Ocarina of Time deserves a high high high score...!

Half-Life ownz everything in that category.

Fallout series are you kidding me i came from the IP forums because they dont listen to there fans and your going to back them up as a company have a spine man get a backbone dont support a company that wont support you !!!!

Remember they only made 2 good Fallouts and BIS was the only fan support they did the mapper editor in there spare time without the support of IP and then IP took the series and flushed it down the drain by ruining it with making it a consol not to mention used parts of the BG DA engine and they broke cannon the story line everything even turned what was cool looking SMutants and Deathclaws into cartoon looking flunkies and your supporting them. :naughty: :naughty: :naughty:

Sorry i lost self control there for a second in my mini rant but plz if you need anyone to support go find the [ Nuclear Dreams ] mod for HL2 they got a forum and stuff just waiting for the SDK to come out im sure those guys are worth supporting and could use you in there corner.
 
Could someone explain how Halo beat Goldeneye?
Ive never played Halo but Goldeneye is the best console game ever.

Holy F***!! The Battlefield vs Unreal is dead even!!!

And I also forsee CS defeating Ravenshield.... which is sad because RvS is a far superior game compared to CS.... :(
 
On the Half-Life front, I voted HL

On the BF vs. Unreal front, I voted Unreal. Easy decision for me.

what? :) I happen to like that combination.. It had great sense of humor though plus the weaponry kicked ass!! :) It was much more fun that boring ol' quoo645trzzorkk..

Uhh? Fallout is one of the best games out there regardless of which company behind it. I don't support Interplay for their desicion. In fact I think they signed their own death contract when the closed down Black Isle Studios, who without doubt made several of the best RPGs in the world. But I don't see why that should hinder me in supporting Fallout as a game.
 
Fallout 2 just offers so much more scope compared to the other games in it's category. I think it at least deserves to go into the next stage.
 
I'll be voting for Diablo see ya on the battle field Mahahaha ! :)

Edit - i had a huge post but blah figure this is not the IP forums and really dont want to go into any of it over here so good luck..
 
I still thank you should honor the games that are best and not vote against them because Interplay ****ed up... But yeah, Diablo is/was a great game too...
 
Bah, I'm gonna vote for JK2 since that's a game that always will have a place in my heart.
 
I'm pretty sure gamespy knows HL will win it's catagory...they named the catagory Black Mesa....
 
It looks like KotOR and Goldeneye will get their second chances!

KotOR is currently beating Final Fantasy VII by about 2000 votes in Extra Life Match #3... and Goldeneye is currently beating Battlefield 1942 by about 600 votes in Extra Life Match #4.

HALO SUCKS?!?!??! HAVE YOU EVAR EVEN PLAYED IT?? ::STUTTERS:: BUh buh.. but.. i mean.. come one! lol... other than the fact that EVIL M$ (ONLY time youll ever hear me call them that :)) bought out bungie to make the game exclusive (killing off about half of the awesome features it had..) the game friggin OWNS.. it owned and it STILL owns.. i mean what game to date even remotely can perform as well as Halo with all that dynamic lighting, physics AND bump map textures just a bout everywhere you look? not to mention mutli vehicle support AANNNDDD CO-OP!? oh oh .... and the plot?? huge twists and a badass character to boot!! what else could you want in a FPS?? it wasnt just a shoot fest.. i mean the AI is STILL very friggin impressive by today's standards.. they take cover and call for help, alerting others, working as a squad etc... i mean look at the weekly updates Bungie used to post when they were still in developmental process with Halo to get a better look at the A.I..... your allied soldiers respond to friendly fire negatively after legit warnings, they take cover with you, talk to you, turn on flashlight when in dark areas, coordinate with each other including the projectiles of grenades, evasive manuvers as well as offensive attack and aim with them... i mean seriously.. what COULDNT you like about the game? half the people i know who own a Xbox was just so they could buy Halo (this includes myself of course :)) .. im no fanboy and not trying to start shit.. but please... TELL ME what made this game suck?? i LOVE half life and everything about it.. u name it i love it... but i dont see what HL has in respect to a FPS that Halo didnt??

(and if u even mention the infamous infested "library" or elevator levels thats just not fair cuz i remember going bonkers with the then-insane jumping puzzles on Xen as well..::rolls eyes:: )

keep it civil and anti fan boy and clean... and just tell me your reason... please i beg of you! lol

Xen was WAY more fun then that library level in Halo

and its gonna be REAL interesting to see what happens with this Title Fight, most likely it'll be a Half-life Vs Counter-Strike showdown

but... JUMPING PUZZLES... i mean... UGH... there were some parts of xen that were interesting fun sure... but .. jumping puzzles? besides being horribly cliche it was annoying and it was where i said when playing it "aw ha.. annnddd THIS is where they jumped the shark..." they lost originality points on that one ehhe

just as when i played that library level i was screaming to be just shot "WHAT THE FAWK AM I GOING IN CIRCLES?!?! AM I LOST? ARE THESE (brainfarts and forgets name of that virus) SMARTER THAN I THOUGHT AND HAVING ME GO IN CIRCLES TILL I JUST GIVE UP!?"
